Following their very successful World Cup campaign, Write the Future, Nike is yet again aiming their efforts at soccer enthused fans. This time though, it’s to raise funds and awareness of the AIDS epidemic in Africa. 22 million people living in Africa are infected with this horrible disease and Nike is doing something about it with their new campaign, #EndAIDS (NIKE) RED Laces . 100% of the proceeds will go to people who are infected with HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria through Global Fund, and soccer programs that help raise awareness. Nike has raised over $150 million dollars for Global Fund which will go towards  HIV testing, antiretroviral medication, medical staff training and preventative measures against mother-child disease transmission.

I will be sure to show my support and buy a pair for my cleats, how about you?
