Nesquik is back on its marketing A-game after a 10 year “break” from television advertising. The new ads will feature their mascot, Quicky theRabbit, who has been the face of Nesquik for 37 years. (Quicky ages well, don’t you agree?) In this new campaign, they will promote their new recipe that is free from artificial ingredients and show that powdered drinks are actually health beneficial to children. The ad was created by McCann Erickson and was launched on July 19th and will run for 6 weeks. The campaign is supported by a newly launched Nesquik website, which is targeted at both kids and adults alike. Upon visiting it, I found a lot of useful information for adults such as outdoor activity suggestions to keep healthy and moving, healthy eating guidelines, and delicious looking recipes. For the kids, there are online downloads, games, reasons why it’s important to stay healthy and fun ways to stay in shape (like making your own cute hand weights). Even though this new campaign cost Nesquik a pretty penny, I think it will have a positive outcome. Go check out the site and tell us what you think!
